My name is Chloe Nalwoga I am a Textile designer for a company called Standfast and Barracks in Paisley Scotland, where I am trying to make a name for myself. I moved to paisley from Africa. I was massively interest in the art museum in the area, which really helped me gain concept ideas for my wallpaper designs for the company. I work by bending colours and imagery to make your place of living, to stand out in ways you image it to be.

I am always looking into different ways of design techniques in a range of different areas. I like to look around area that don’t have too much interesting designs concepts and try create the best colours to make it stand out. My culture allows me to express who I am and how I am able to meet high demand for my Customers.

  • Proud Moments

I have hosted events in other countries like in London for ‘Jenifer custody’ to present my design to her customers. I have gone to Germany where I was 1 of 4 people invited for collaboration with HP (Hewlett-Packard) in 2018 where I showcased my Surface Design and niche fabrics.

  • What pushed your progress

My journey has not come easy, so my message to everyone is to believe in the work you do and don’t get de-motivated and always stay active.
